Has the Watchtower infiltrated JWD?
by JH in.
do you think that at least one active person on this board is working for the watchtower and trying desperately to get information on people here?
do you know who you can really trust on this site, or is everyone a potential watchtower spy?

They wouldn't want to discuss anything without an agenda. They are God's chosen organisation, remember.
They are right and we are wrong.

All this said they don't say they are going to change a single thing in there policy, so nothings changed, only that parents should keep an eye on their children - don't you think they do this already ?

JW Friendly
by be wise inhi, be wise here going through a late wbts phase.. i've chosen for a long time to just ignore everything i was taught and turn my back on the whole jw thing for a long time now [this didn't help in the slightest].. it's only since i got on the web and got past that 'initial' fear of questioning things that i've started to mend.
i'm only just starting to look at what kind of society i've been indoctrinated by for most of my life and believe me it isn't good.
i've just been on randys website all night i haven't slept a wink but it was worth it.

Thanks Mark, I really appreciate your comments.
Pete, I'll check that book out this week, it sound like more of the kind of thing I'm interested in studying.
I think the Bible isn't very helpful as regards the real problems in life. It is full of simple facts like 'love your neighbour' and 'be a good wife' [an insult to women at it's best]. To me some of this is common sense. There are a few examples written that can help us. I believe humans should be educated in life and educated in dealing with the real issues not running away from them as the JW's teach. Thank God fanatical JW's are only a small portion of the religious part of this world. But there are many others.

Personal WTS Quotes - 'SIMPLE MESSAGE'
by be wise indo you remember on the panorama program when ted jaracz of the gb quoting the bible said, 'the bible says do not go beyond the things written and we do not go beyond the things written.'.
this blind arrogance just bold me over.
he said this to a reporter who was investigating child abuse within the jw ranks.

This blind arrogance just bold me over. He said this to a reporter who was investigating child abuse within the JW ranks. The current rule is you need witnesses to the event, how many people witness child abuse. He didn't spare a thought for the thousands who are going through this abuse.
This is the plain unloving arrogance of their mindset for all to witness, it's destorying lives.
How many Paedophiles do you think will target your organisation now after seeing the evidence for themselves. YOU WILL HAVE AN EPIDEMIC. Support Silent Lambs if you are a Jehovah's Witness? Your organisation has to change.

Two door cars. A demonstration of love?
by Holey_Cheeses*King_of_the juice. ini would term it an outright act of selfishness for any witness to own a two door car.
how can that person expect that car to perform as an efficient source of spreading the good news when the fact is that is really disfunctional.
quite acceptable for going to meetings, but what about witnessing in the rurals?

One of the funniest things I think was observing moany older people getting into the back seats of 2 door cars.
Right, why not hang on to the seat belt when getting in [OK then, tear it off completely]. Aim for the wedge between the larger brother and the skinny publisher. Now swing around, line that ass up and ...drop. Nearly tears the front seat off when pulling it back down without taking the saftey catch off first.

rocketman; if they kept making unannounced visits to me I don't know what I'd eventually do [bucket of water comes to mind]. If you did bucket them, they would feel good that they were so-being 'tortured' christians, it would even get a passing comment at the meeting, you would be doing them a favour. Other than that nick his bucket when you see him cleaning windows.
